A teen struggles with multiple versions of reality in this sci-fi thriller short from Christiane Erwin.
When Amy Foster was 10, her abusive father was forced to undergo an experimental procedure named forging intended to eradicate his violent tendencies. Six years later, Amy’s life is practically perfect – until Grandma Foster comes to visit.
As cracks in their happy family facade begin to show, Amy suspects that forging may not be as successful as everyone believes and must figure out what’s "real" in a world where no one shares the same version of events.
This is a standalone short story and does not take place in the Lost Key universe.
